About RueCare

Mission and Vision

Welcome to RueCare PLLC. I’m Dr. Ruhama (Rue) Hazout, a psychologist committed to working with individuals who push themselves hard but often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. My approach is rooted in helping you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while addressing the underlying patterns that keep you feeling on edge.

Using evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, I focus on the bigger picture—your mental health, physical well-being, relationships, and personal goals. Therapy is about real change, not just managing the surface symptoms, and I’m here to provide tools that work in your real life. Let’s make the time you invest in yourself count.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout.

About Me

I’m Dr. Ruhama Hazout, founder of RueCare PLLC, and I’m here for people who feel like they’re holding it together on the outside but carrying so much more than anyone realizes. I specialize in helping individuals work through anxiety, trauma, and their related disorders. Whether you’re a high-achiever, or someone always taking care of others, this is a space for you to focus on yourself for a change.

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed advanced training through APA-accredited internships and residencies. My work at the VA Medical Center and as an adjunct faculty member has taught me how to combine evidence-based practices with a holistic approach that considers the whole person—not just their symptoms.

Outside of my practice, I find balance through running, cycling, and yoga. These experiences remind me of the importance of both mental and physical health, which informs the way I work with my clients. My focus is on helping you stop overthinking, feel more at ease, and get back to what really matters to you.

If you’re ready to stop just getting through each day and start making real progress, let’s connect.

Cultural Statement

At RueCare, my focus is on HEALTH—a full spectrum approach to your well-being that goes beyond the surface. Here’s what it stands for:

Holistic Well-being:

You’re more than just your symptoms. We’ll focus on the full picture—your emotions, mindset, physical health, and even the deeper parts of yourself that often get overlooked.

Empathy:

This is your space to be heard and understood. You won’t have to explain away your feelings or justify your experiences here; I’m here to listen and support, not judge.

Advancement:

I bring proven, evidence-based techniques to therapy, constantly refining my methods to make sure what we do together is effective and adaptable to your unique needs.

Longevity:

Therapy isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about building skills and strategies that last. Whether it’s managing anxiety, working through trauma, or creating balance, we focus on solutions that serve you for the long haul.

Therapeutic Partnership:

Therapy is a team effort. I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you uncover insights and create changes while respecting your individuality every step of the way.

Hope:

No matter how hard things feel right now, I believe there’s a path forward. Therapy isn’t just about “fixing problems”; it’s about helping you connect to a life that feels meaningful to you.

If you’re ready to invest in yourself and work toward a more balanced, grounded version of life, let’s get started. This is your space to take the first step.
